Ready in 4 steps — no tools needed

Soak a new filter in cold water for at least 5 minutes, until the bubbles stop: this releases trapped air that can slow water flow. Rinse the filter and holder, set the current month to “IN” on the date dial, then click the filter into the holder and push it into the water tank until it locks.
