FAQ

  • Start by identifying your Keurig's brewing system.

Older models like K-Classic, K-Elite, K-Select, and K-Express use a single needle — these work with our single-needle reusable K-Cups. K-Compact and Keurig 2.0 brewers fit only some of our single-needle packs, so check the Compatibility section on the product page. None of our pods fit the K-Duo Plus.

Newer brewers like K-Supreme, K-Supreme Plus, and K-Slim use MultiStream technology (five water ports) and require a MultiStream-compatible reusable cup. Browse our MultiStream reusable K-Cups if you have one of these models.

Check the model number on the label underneath your machine, or send us your model and we'll help you find the right fit.

  • Compatibility depends on your specific Keurig model and brewing system. We offer reusable K-Cups for Keurig 1.0 & 2.0 brewers and MultiStream brewers (K-Supreme, K-Slim).

None of our pods fit the K-Duo Plus. Each product page includes a Compatibility section — always check it before ordering.

Still unsure? Contact us with your Keurig model and we'll point you to the right option.

  • Fill the pod with medium-ground coffee — don't use fine grind as it can clog the mesh.

Leave 2–3mm of space at the top so the lid closes properly. Insert into your Keurig just like a regular K-Cup pod and brew as usual.

For your first brew, we recommend running it once with just water to rinse the filter. Find the step-by-step video for your pod in the Video Guides above.

  • This usually happens for one of three reasons: the grind is too fine, the pod is overfilled, or the lid isn't fully closed.

Try using a medium grind and leave a small gap at the top before closing the lid.

For a completely grounds-free cup, add one of our disposable paper liners — they drop right into the reusable pod and make cleanup instant. Available in 100-count and 300-count packs.

  • Rinse it under warm running water immediately after brewing — this takes about 10 seconds and prevents coffee oils from building up.

Most of our reusable K-Cups are also dishwasher safe on the top rack. For a deeper clean once a week, soak in warm water with a drop of dish soap for 5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

  • Both work great, but they have different strengths. BPA-free plastic pods are lightweight, easy to use, and available in multiple colors.

Our 100% stainless steel K-Cups use fine-mesh filtration similar to a pour-over — no plastic ever touches your coffee, and many customers notice a richer, cleaner flavor.

Stainless steel is also more durable and lasts longer. If taste and zero plastic contact are your priority, go stainless.

  • Keurig water filters use activated charcoal to help reduce chlorine, odors, and other impurities in your tap water before it reaches your coffee.

Cleaner water means better-tasting coffee and helps reduce mineral buildup inside your brewer. For full care, descale regularly as well.

Replace your filter every 2 months or every 60 tank refills, whichever comes first. Shop our replacement water filters for Keurig in 6-pack or 12-pack.

  • Most Keurig brewers use a rear water reservoir with a filter holder inside the tank.

Our charcoal water filters fit Keurig brewers that use a water filter holder, including K-Supreme, K-Slim, K-Express, K-Classic, K-Duo, K-Elite, K-Select, K-Café, K-Compact, K-Iced, K-Latte and Keurig 1.0 and 2.0 brewers. The holder is not included with the filters.

If your holder is missing or broken, choose a holder + 12 filters kit: the Short Holder kit for K-Compact, K-Duo, K-Duo Essentials, K-Duo Hot & Iced and K-Latte (reservoirs under 8" tall), or the Tall Holder kit for K-Supreme, K-Slim, K-Express, K-Select, K-Classic, K-Elite, K-Iced, K-Café and K-Duo Plus. K-Mini and K-Mini Plus have no filter holder, so they can't use these filters.

Check the Compatibility section on each product page or contact us if you're unsure.

  • Yes — we carry replacement water filters for Cuisinart, reusable cone coffee filters for Cuisinart 10–14 cup cone-style brewers (DCC-3200, DCC-1200, DCC-3400 and more), and unbleached #4 paper cone filters that fit Cuisinart, Ninja, Mr. Coffee, and more.

Replace Cuisinart water filters every 60 days or after 60 uses, whichever comes first.

  • Paper liners are small disposable filters that drop inside your reusable K-Cup before you add coffee. They fit most reusable K-Cups, help keep grounds out of your cup, and make cleanup quick — just toss the liner.

They're optional, but if you've ever had grounds in your coffee or hate rinsing the mesh, they're a game changer. Available in 100-count and 300-count packs.

  • A lot. The average single-use K-Cup pod costs $0.50–$1.00. A bag of quality ground coffee brewed in a reusable K-Cup costs roughly $0.10–$0.15 per cup.

If you brew 2 cups a day, that's a saving of $260–$650 per year — from a product that costs $17.95 and lasts for years.

The reusable K-Cup pays for itself in the first 2–3 weeks.
